Thanksgiving Dinner

Hi. I did this at schoolwork. I'm really proud of it. I'm going to show it to daddy when he gets home. I'm six years old. Newton's right here next to me. I don't know what I'm having for Thanksgiving, but we might be having this for Thanksgiving. I put on ham for the meat, and my mom likes turkey. Right, mom? I put in a vegetable too. It was broccoli and carrots. If we have salad, I want raspberry dipping (dressing) for my salad. I put on three cakes. I put on the sort of brownish chocolate chip cookies. I didn't put on the sour cream or the trash bags (from the sales flyer). Of course we weren't going to eat the trash bags.

My birthday party is going to be a musketeer birthday party. I saw the musketeer movie. We have the musketeer movie, too.

Mom Says:
We shopped for American Girl clothes at the Brooklyn Fair yesterday. On the left is Jessica, a Gotz doll, who is the "good daughter." On the right is a nameless doll that Carolyn often calls "Sissy" and says she is "bratty." Sissy is often getting punished with time outs and having the rules explained to her.

eggs stink

Daddy, you have to read this cause I think you made eggs for breakfast.

Daddy made eggs for breakfast. They stink. I didn't like their smell. Mom agreed and she sprayed around the house and then put a match around the house. And she didn't think one spray was a good spray, so then she switched to the orange spray.

Theater Camp

Right now we're looking at blogs. We just went to theater camp, and every day that I go to theater camp it's very early to go to sleep. But it's also very time to go to sleep, because I don't have a lot of time left. We're about to play with mom. My best friend in theater camp is named Jasmine. She's a very nice girl. And today she had glitter in her hair. I like to be with her the whole day no matter what we're doing. I have a lot of friends at theater camp, and a lot of them I want to invite over. Could you please go to my recital? I like it. I'm not nervous at all. I want to go. I was waiting for this part.

Mini Meals

Mom made me some new food and I really love it. Dragon's eating broccoli and popcorn. He's a friendly dragon.

The two sandwiches - I like them. They aren't peanut butter and Jelly. They're ham and cheese and lettuce.
They start with one of the same thing - it's lettuce. One starts with just ham, and the other one starts with just cheese {She's talking about the order of the fillings inside the bread.}

Dad

I love this dad. He's not as good as mom, but I still like him a little. He puts me to bed almost every night, and I love sleeping.

Playroom

This is my favorite room, the playroom. I like it because it has all my toys in it. You didn't see a couple (of the toys) because we just took it of that area.

A picture of my swing - that was one we just took.

I really love this playroom, like I said. It has my cheerleading stuff in it, and my pony I took a picture of, and one of my roses that smells that Mama gave me for Christmas, and some new toys I just bought, they're fun. And it has a dollhouse. And it has styrofoam all over it. I think the cats scratched it. And I love jumping on my jumping swing. I have come up with a lot of good ideas for it now.

I like Smart E Bear, but I think he's still broken. He can play Simon Says, and I like the game Simon Says.

It's kind of messy right now, but we'll clean it up another day, probably.

Jack the Cat

This is a live cat. It's mom's, and it's very old. Older than Merlin, I think, because Merlin died before it. It's mom's cat, not mine, but I think he would used to scratch me if I tried to scritch his neck. Now when I scritch his neck, he lets me. He just lets me - He's fine with it. He just stays there and say, "OK." His name is Jack. Jack is a sort of sweet cat to me.

Webkinz

Charms is my Webkinz, Jr. Instead of just a "W", they have "W-J-R" I got this at the store, and after we got it at the store, we played with him and buyed some stuff for him, and we played with him in the computer. He's also a stuffed animal. I like them both, they both are cute.

The monkey that it was was only cute in the computer, but they were cute in both. I wasn't sure about the dogs, I didn't want the dogs, so I just picked the cat. And a couple times Mom made catty talk to me, and I liked that.

This frog wasn't here at first. My first Webkin was Ribbi T. To keep Ribbi T alive, we had to get a new one, and I picked this one. This frog is cute. I like small, and I think he's cute, too. I like my frog. Once when I spurted part of a Capri Sun on him, mom said, "That seems to make him perk up." And mom said, "I guess it's because it's water and frogs like water." I forgot where I got him. This frog was smaller than Ribbi T, so it's sort of like Ribbi T was his mother or father.

Zoe

This is my favorite stuffed animal. It has worns [worn spots] in the back, but I still snuggle it. I snuggle it every night. She has also worn on her nose. My ribbons used to smell when I had my pacifier in my mouth, but now they don't smell, they're just cold. I rub them sometimes because they're cold and I'm hot. I feel that she loves me a lot too. I still sleep with my zoe every night.

My Little Love Pony

This pony is sort of like a love pony. It sort of has its own love station. You kiss it, and you hug it. But some of the things you can do to make its love go up don't work anymore, but I still love my pony. It's my best toy, sort of, because it has its own love
station, and I like toys like that. And its the biggest pony I have.

Play Doh

{On the left side of the picture the plastic "baby" is holding a yellow balloon in one hand.}

This is my balloon I made out of play-doh. I gave it to my pretend baby while we were playing with Playdoh. Mom was taking pictures of it while I was playing - Two pictures only. But I picked the one where I was smiling instead of the one where I was saying 'balloon.'

We have a big blob where we call it "dough." {pasta dough.} We make things with it.

In play-doh, this is the time: 8 dot 8 dot 8 dot.

"I Love Kindergarten"

This is when I'm getting ready to go to kindergarten.

Know what? I love kindergarten! I can't wait until I get to go there.

This is my first day of kindergarten. We got to visit the school. Boy, that was so fun! Know what? I bet I'm going to have a lot of fun there. Everyone else was new there, too.

I'll miss my mom when I go, and I'll miss my kitties, too. I'll miss my "home sweet home," but I won't miss my kindergarten, because I'll be there every day.

Kindergarten is going to be in the fall. I'll still have lots and tons of days to go to the big, big pool, cuz it opens in the summer.

Boy, I think I'll have a fun time. {This is said in her actor's voice, so it could be true or not.} [Pause]

And I'll have the whole rest of the day with mom. [Pause] It will probably be fun, and if there's a library there, it will be even funner. And mom would probably like to see it, because she used to be working at the school library.

I love to play, and probably there'll be some playing time.

"So, have a good day! Bye-Bye." I will say it to mommy when I go into my kindergarten class.

Fun Bubbles

These are "Fun Bubbles". I like them. I think they're realy fun because they came with a mixing thing and I like to mix them. But then the yellow wand, it tripped out, and... well, I made that into my mixing thing.


I put into a photo of just mom by accident when I was trying to get ready for another bubble picture.

 

 

I'm pretending contest right now with my bubbles. I'm pretending I'm at the Gymboree and there's a contest of getting bubbles - popping bubbles. And the big ones giving a lot of money, the Gymboree persons to us. It counts what size they are to put in money.

Bright Eyes

I love my sweet, sweet kitties. This is one of them, named Bright Eyes. The other one's named Newton, but he's pretty wiggly, so I couldn't put him in.

They're from Louann, and Louann found them in the wild, and she gave them to me.

They're play flowers, and I use them for pretending that it's a garden. I usually like to pick them by the garden. When the little one was growing, I was pretending one day.

And these red ones - the red ones you saw - they have three of them. The orange ones, well, there's only two.

I don't know how to explain part of it. This flower is my favorite flower because it's really long. And it has a lot of little flowers.

And I like one because it's the prettiest, and the prettiest only has one. It's like a little yellow and pink put together. And the yellow one, it looks like it's turning into that one, cuz there's a little bit of that color in there.

I want somebody to say something about my blog. You know, like somebody said something about your blog? {Recently I got my first comment on a blog post.} I want them to say something, like "I like your flower, too."

Is it hard making a blog, mama? {No, it's not hard.}

Me either, because it's not hard to talk, and I like to talk. The easy part to me is talking.
